This therapeutic approach addresses both the psychological and physical pain experienced in the aftermath of a loss or change. The objective is for individuals to gradually return to normalcy over time, without having to forget or disregard their experiences. Through counselling, one can learn effective coping strategies to manage these changes.

This form of counselling involves short-term psychotherapy techniques specifically designed for traumatic grief. The aim is to diminish avoidance behaviors related to reminders of the event and to foster resilience and strength following the experience.
- Traumatic Grief Counselling - Traumatic grief is an emotional reaction to the unexpected and/or violent loss of a loved one, which may result from events such as murder, natural disasters, horrific accidents, or illness.
